"Cooking with the Movies"
This is a great way to introduce students to examples in movies of individuals expressing passion with food and cooking. The authors of the book represented, Anthony Chiffolo and Rayner Hesse, discuss how they prepared the same meals that were represented in classic foodie movies like Babette's Feast, and include information and recipes in the book that they co-wrote and are reviewing in the video piece. This would be a way to talk about cooking and media links without the time investment of watching the movies (but you could still view pieces), but most of all the movies highlighted clearly present the passion that surrounds food and it's preparation, which is important for future chefs to realize.

Welcome to my Blog Culinaire !
I created this blog as an assignment in another course, and will continue to use it to post assignments for EDUC 552. I have used this blog in the past with my academy students, along with a schoolfusion page. Currently, my class is working with an Angel account for our courses, so this blog has been neglected this semester. I like to use a blog to post current events and articles for students to read and comment on, and also to show them projects that I create for my own classes.
I'm looking forward to learning more about multimedia and technology in this class... Maybell
